The new entrance to the Novartis Campus in Basel is situated just off of the Voltaplatz in a picturesque park and above a modern underground car park. The striking wing-shaped roof of the entry pavillion made of a white, fiberglass reinforced plastic skin appears to float as it is supported solely by a structure of glass.

As head of the general planning team, we coordinated the three main interconnected disciplines: the architecture of the entry pavilion including its efficient car park, the landscape architecture and the various artistic contributions. This required an innovative and multifaceted planning team. We had to ensure the various user groups were addressed, the diverse requirements were integrated in the planning and the numerous visions were met through precise construction at all levels.
